048 Kodman Shaped

This is a 5’10 Double Winged Five Fin. I custom made a tapered stringer  to add flex into the tail. The stringer starts at 3/16″ in the nose and gradually thins out to 1/16″ in the tail. Off to glasser this week.

Malwitz + True Ames

I’m now a True Ames dealer. With a huge selection of beautifully crafted fins, it’s a no brainer. Check out their catalog and grab a deal if you order here.

047 Kern Shaped

I shaped a mini simmons today. This is probably the most difficult board I’ve shaped. First because the blank was 2 foot longer than this size in order to get the thickness and rockers. That meant plenty of time to foil out the board from a block. Secondly because of all the intersecting curves. But it came out so nice. There are some custom marine-ply keels from John Cherry on the way.

Three More.

These are the remaining three Saturdays / Chandelier Collaboration boards. They came out really nice. The idea of these started eight months ago. It’s hard to believe they are finally ready. Saturdays and Chandelier have some party plans in the works so keep an eye out.
