This one has some resin color mixed up to match the logo. Hotcoat and sanding to go. Then it’s off to California.

I spent the winter welcoming my beautiful daughter to the world while living vicariously through this board. I have been building surfboards for pure enjoyment and the taco fish has seriously paid off. Its winter travels took it from Mainland Mexico, to Hawaii, and, as seen here, to Bali. I’m honored to have one of my shapes taken on some serious wave searching. “I’m still adjusting to this side of the world. Thanks for making such a rad board.” -Andrew Keep a lookout for Andrew and the reopening of Rockaway Taco in a few weeks.
We finished the shape this morning. It’s a nice full 8’3” mini that’s bound for plenty of sliding.
Plenty of Mind Surfing to be had. Contact him for an original @ Arthead
I spent the morning with Steve shaping his 8’3” Mini Log. We pulled a 7am Dawn Patrol. It’s alot of foam to take on as a 1st time. Today we cut the outline, adjusted rocker and foil, and added bottom concaves. Next week, we’ll finish up the top shape and rails. It’s coming along nicely.
I have Shape Your Own Board #4 lined up for this weekend. We’ll be shaping this 8’3 mini log. There’s going to be some serious foam mowing going on.
The plan is to have these available at the Surfy Surfy Store once they are up and running. In the meantime, they are available to buy here. Both are beautifully made and 100% of the price goes to SurfAid International. So grab one! Ed Fladung – view or buy here Meegan Feori – view or buy here
I held a shaping class yesterday with Mark. We copied a 6’6” semi-gun that he brought in with him. He’s not quite finished but here are some in progress shots. It’s coming along very nice.
It is very very orange.
