Quiver Feature

The people at Swaylock’s gave me the feature spot in their March Quiver Newsletter. It shows a recent Double Winged 5 Fin Round Tail that was painful to hand off to its owner. But all is good, since it soon after took a trip to El Salvador to ride some of my favorite left points. This board is really fun to shape and I’m looking to make more of these. 036_Rider Report

A rider report making all the hard work well worthwhile. Thanks for the review! Now that I have gotten a few actual rides on it, unlike the drownings yesterday.. 6,4 by 20.5 by 2.5 thick EPS foam. Low Rocker Square tail, thruster. Minimal Single out to double concave Rails are full out to the edge, = More hidden float. When I ordered it I was after a basic thruster, but EPS for extra float. Nothing crazy. Rick was super specific about getting it right, asking what I wanted and sending exact diagrams and templates back. 27 emails later we had the shape..and that for a basic thruster..Detail detail details..the dude likes details.. Now, if you know me you know I mainly ride Longboards, fish, singlefins or odddballs …SO a basic thruster was something I always thought I should try to learn to surf on.  Photo after photo of me always […]

This is a rare stock board for sale. It’s on the rack at Lightly Salted in Asbury Park, NJ. The idea with this board is low rocker, extra width, and full thickness to the rails . Allowing for easy float, paddling, and mucho wave catching.

This custom order now resides in Rockaway Beach NYC. It has a nice overall thickness and super mellow rocker for cruising fast. I’m expecting a full rider report from tomorrow’s swell. Thanks to Under Toe for the glass.

This board is up for sale. Shape is ready and just needs glass. It’s an all around wide round squash tail fishy thruster but could also work as a quad. It has full rails, low rocker (4.5” Nose / 2.25” Tail, flattish deck, deep single to double concaves, and a slight kick out the tail. After glassing it will be on the rack at Lightly Salted in Asbury if it doesn’t go before then. Dims: 6’4 20.25” 2.25” Price $450 More photos here
