7′ Asymm Fish for Ari

Ari, from Rhode Island and goofy footed, came to me for an asymmetrical fish for the nice right handers they have up there. He told me to just have fun. His two requirements were lots of volume and super bright colors. We came to a 7′ asymm long quad/keel fish and an all resin tint coloring that flows nicely with the shape. Shaper’s note: When doing asymm boards be sure to rememeber if rider is goofy or regular. I got half way through shaping and realized I was making it regular footed. So if anyone (regular footed) is interested, I have another one of these ready to glass. Thanks Ari!

7′ Egg for Adam

“Dude, that board is amazing. Thank you so much man” I’ve known and worked with Adam for a few years. After all those years of talking about it, he finally ordered a board. Good work Adam! Go get some waves!

6’6 Stubby for Gabri (Rome,Italy)

From 1-10, Stoke Factor on this one is easily 20. Gabri wrote me from Rome, Italy in 2010. Well over 100 emails and three years later, we finally got it all worked out. Last weekend  on his family trip to NYC, my family got to meet his in Soho. Seeing his excitement was pretty awesome. In fact, I’m gonna change the stoke factor to 30. We worked out a clean sanded, slightly mixed up displacement hull with modern rails and shortboard-ish mid and tail bottom with a 2+1. While we were talking, he asked about board #2 which sounds good to me. Enjoy Gabri! Hope it works well for you.

7’2 Mini Thruster

A recent mini that’s an ideal size to learn and quickly get turning. Or great on smaller days for anyone. It’s duck divable but also floaty to catch plenty of waves. Sanded gloss finish glass by Under Toe Glassing.
