8’8 Geo Mini for Jeff

Jeff was able to revive that Geometry course I had in college. He asked for a two color resin tint and 9 color hand painted nose deck that hurt my brain, but was well worth it. Concave nose and belly bottom ready to cruise. Thanks Jeff. Your patience on this one was insanity. Enjoy!

8’0 Egg 2+1

This is #2 of 4 stock boards taking a train to San Francisco. Keep an eye out for a new shop – Avenues.

Facebook 1,000 Raffle Board for Kristen

A board was raffled off when 1,000 followers on the MCS Facebook Page was reached. What was mainly meant to get people watching the page turned into something much more for someone who definitely needed a little something. Kristen from Long Beach, NY was randomly chosen as the winner. We worked back and forth to narrow down what she wanted. At first, all I knew was that she desperately needed a new board to replace her waterlogged WRV she had been riding for years. Until she wrote me this… From Kristen: “Thanks again for this board and not to get too deep but winning this board was a light for me in a somewhat dark point in my life. This past year for me has been a tough one, I moved back home to NY after 7 years of living in Florida taking what I thought was a dream job/ […]

76 Mini for Allison

Here’s a good example of what goes into a custom surfboard. One phone call, 60+ back and forth emails about size and shape, design and color mockups with revisions, special drive to grab blank not in stock, make template, shape, order fins, screen print logos, drop off to glasser, Brian Wynn, who while working looses power as endless trees fall in his neighborhood, power comes back, board gets polished, pick up board, and then we make it to here to Asbury Park for the photo shoot and drop off. Ended up with a fun looking mini with a nice belly rolled bottom to cruise on. Thanks Allison! It was a pleasure. Hope it treats you well.

7’2 Mini Thruster

A recent mini that’s an ideal size to learn and quickly get turning. Or great on smaller days for anyone. It’s duck divable but also floaty to catch plenty of waves. Sanded gloss finish glass by Under Toe Glassing.
